PRIVACY NOTICE REGARDING THE CLOSED-CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) SYSTEM

The company under the name “KOS HOTEL S.A.” established in the municipality of Kos (address Charmilou, no. 2, Postal Code 85300) (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) notifies you about the following in respect of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems used in the hotels “Kos Hotel Junior Suites”, “Kos Aktis Art Hotel” and “Patmos Aktis Suites & Spa”:

1. The monitoring and the relevant processing of your personal data (your image) are necessary for the purpose of preventing, deterring and suppressing illegal actions.

2. The legal basis for the processing of the above personal data is that the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company, as described above, which override your interest, fundamental rights and freedoms (article 6, para. 1, section. (f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).

3. Apart from third parties acting on behalf of the Company (e.g. IT companies), recipients of your personal data are the competent judicial, prosecuting and police authorities or the person who is displayed to be the victim or the perpetrator of the above illegal actions.

4. Your personal data are not transmitted outside the European Union.

5. The data are destroyed within a period of 15 days, unless their retention is permitted or required, under the applicable legislation/ regulation.

6. In case you wish to exercise your right of access to, rectification, deletion, restriction or objection to the processing of your personal data as well as your right to data portability, you may contact the Company’s Data Protection Officer solely and exclusively at: [email protected], or by sending a letter to the address mentioned above, whereas all other means of communication are expressly excluded (e.g. fax or communication via telephone number)

7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority (for Greece: www.dpa.gr).
